Books and Resources – Not to Study

You no need to pursue any post graduation to prepare for any competitive exam unless you want to do post graduation. competitive exam preparation can be done as a standalone. However, post graduation always help in one way or the other. But don’t combine both for the benefit of the exam.

A few mistakes to avoid

These are a few mistakes that students commit while preparing for competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, APPSC, TSPSC etc.

  1. Trying to study 24 hours a day for a few days and then leave it for so many days. Then go into depression. Study daily minimum hours and maintain consistency.
  2. Overconfidence
  3. Disengaging with friends and family feeling that you are doing a great thing. Actually you are not doing any great thing when compared to parents. Don’t neglect them. If you are unable to manage your relationship with parents, how can you manage in the future job?
  4. Haphazard preparation
  5. No planning.
  6. Trying to study all books.
